Game against HSO Attack 2, Feb 5

This was a much anticipated game, up against HSO Attack 2, whom we tied the last time we met.  We knew that the player to watch out for was number 18, and with that in mind Coach David came up with a secret, hopefully winning strategy (so secret, it cannot be divulged here!). Well, it worked!  Between his strategy and the players getting shots on goal (the most important thing!), we managed to beat them with a final score of 6-4.  It would have been an even larger margin if it were not for number 18, since he set up the first goal (really beautifully, I must admit) and scored HSO's three ensuing goals – I cannot imagine how it must feel to have a team whose success depends almost solely on the presence of one player.

This was an important win in terms of our standings, since the teams placed from third to ninth place (ninth being the Cougars, currently) are all battling hard for their positions, with only a 6-point difference between them.  Our win was a 3 pointer (2 points for the game win, 1 fair play point) that is really important at this stage of the game.

And a big shout out to Joshua, for getting his very first goal of the season - and what a beauty it was, check it out below!
