This was our second time facing this team, the last time
having lost to them 4-3. What a way to
come back from our loss in our previous game… it seemed like this time we
really meant business. Within seven
minutes we had a 4-0 lead, and our guys kept slamming them in…by the middle of
the third period we were leading 9-0. It was hard to believe that the goalie was the
same one we faced in November, when he only let three pucks past him. The last four minutes of the game were a
little tense, where Centre Sud took advantage of a few of our sloppy defensive
plays and managed to score three times, with a final tally of 9-3. Way to go Cougars!
A big shout out to Gabriel and Jérôme, for both scoring
their very first goals of the season – excellent show, guys – we all knew you
could do it!
