First playoff game against AHMV Tornades, Mar 9

We went into our first playoff game with a bit of trepidation.  Though we have beaten this team by large margins in the past, in our last match-up against them, they clearly dominated for the first part of the game.  And they, like us, were missing some key players and had a few call-ups (3!).  Nick was still missing on our team, so we had Eric as our call-up.  Romolo played defence and did a great job with the other defensemen (our opponents had only 5 shots on net!).  Kenneth played in nets.  By our fourth goal (scored by Suge, his first ever, yay Suge!), it was fairly clear we were going to win.  But our players kept at it, following all the great coaching advice, and won this game with a final score of 8-1.

Now we face our sister team, the Jaguars.  May the best team win – but boy do we hope it’ll be the Cougars…
